Stardust goes quickly. Give each upgrade a purpose before pressing Power Up.
1. Decide what you need
Are you building a raid attacker, finishing a PvP team, or collecting a favorite? A Pokémon useful for one goal may not be the best investment for another.
2. Check the moves and IVs
Confirm the Pokémon has the moves you want. Moves marked Elite / legacy in this Pokédex may require an Elite TM or a special event; regular TMs do not necessarily grant them.
3. Stop at the right level
Check CP before powering up a PvP Pokémon. Once you go over a league’s CP cap, it cannot be powered back down. Half-levels matter near the cap.
4. Estimate the whole cost
Our power-up calculator totals ordinary Stardust, Candy and Candy XL costs between two levels. It excludes Shadow, Purified, Lucky discounts and surcharges, evolution costs, second charged moves and event discounts.
5. Keep a reserve
You do not need to max everything at once. Start with a useful team at a manageable level and power it up as needed.
